The host city for Finland has not yet been announed. We may know more after the IIHF Congress is held in May of 2026. We will send out this information to you the moment we receive it.
Phase-1 Pre-Booking
Phase-1 pre-booking for our Hat-Trick Club members is now complete.
Phase-2 Pre-Booking
We would now like to invite those who have travelled with Destiny Tours in the past to pre-book for Phase-2 with a non-refundable deposit of CAD $100 per person. This will secure your position in the booking queue (based on your date/time of your pre-booking) for our tour confirmation process which will take place in the spring of 2027.
Departures for 2027/28
We plan to offer the following deparures:
- Dec 19, 2027: Christmas Time In...
- Our world famous Pre-Tournamant Programs to be announced.
- Dec 23, 2027: Just-In-Time (JIT)
- Allows you to arrive just-in-time for the start of the tournament.
- Dec 26, 2027: Christmas At Home
- For those who need to be at home for Christmas but still want to take part.
- Note: with this departure you will miss the first Team Canada game on Dec 26th (and possibly the second game Team Canada plays on Dec 27th).
Return Options
We plan to offer the following return options for 2027/28:
- Jan 06, 2028:
- For those who need to be home on Jan 6.
- This may involve a crazy early departure from the hotel (e.g. between 3 and 5 AM).
- Jan 07, 2028:
- If Canada wins gold, this will allow you to celebrate properly after the game and then sleep-in the morning of Jan 6th. You'll then have the day to decompress before flying home on Jan 7th.
Our World Junior program will include the following:
- Return airfare from your closest major gateway airport (Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal) to Europe.
- We can usually offer add-on flights from your local airport to one of the above gateways.
- We also offer a Land-Only option where you can book your own flight.
- A choice of deluxe hotel accommodations (based on availability) with hot breakfast included daily.
- Premium game tickets with our group including:
- 4 preliminary round Team Canada games plus second game of the day.
- Those departing Dec 26th will miss the first day or two of Team Canada games (depending on the game schedule).
- 2 Quarter Final games where Team Canada plays.
- Both Semi Final games.
- Bronze and Gold Medal games.
- Private motor-coach transfers between airport and hotels, hotels and games, and private tours.
- Welcome Reception.
- Our signature New Year’s Eve Celebration with live entertainment from Canada.
- Commemorative World Junior apparel item with officially licensed event logo.
- Optional tours during tournament days off.
- Farewell Reception.
- Services of a Destiny Tours' Group Leader (a.k.a. Bus Super Hero) per bus.
Pre-Booking Process Recap:
- To secure your position in our booking queue for 2027/28 in Finland, you will need to provide a CAD $100/per person, non-refundable pre-booking deposit.
- We will provide you with the latest updates on the event via email from this point on.
- In Spring of 2027, we will send you our detailed tour package offerings with pricing.
- When we reach your position in the pre-booking queue, we will contact you and provide the package options that are available at that time.
- You will have approx. 48 hours to make your decision on one of two choices:
- If you choose to join us in Finland:
- You will be required to provide an additional non-refundable deposit to confirm your booking.
- We will apply your pre-booking deposit to the price of your tour.
- You can now tell your family, friends and neighbors that you are going to cheer on Team Canada at the World Juniors in Finland!
- If you decide not to join us in Finland:
- You forfeit your $100/per person, non-refundable pre-booking deposit and your pre-booking is cancelled.
- Watch the games at home on TSN.
If you prefer not to provide a $100 non-refundable deposit to pre-book your position in the booking queue, you always have the option to wait until after our tour confirmation process is complete in the spring of 2027. If we still have capacity available after our pre-booked clients have confirmed, it may be possible to book at that time (but there is no guarantee space will be available).
